Everyday essentials
Products we use every single day no matter what is on the agenda.
Munchkin C’est Silicone Open Training Cup and Straw
This has been our favorite training cup to help Parks learn to drink through a straw. It’s all made of silicone, so it’s soft and flexible, which is essential to protect his new teeth and face as he develops his hand-eye coordination. It’s also weighted, which doesn’t prevent spills but it certainly helps!

Inglesina fast table high chair
We use this in our home so Parks can watch us as we move around the kitchen and cook meals. We also bring it with us to restaurants. It attaches easily and securely to a bar and it’s perfect for high-top tables and booths. We prefer it over restaurant high chairs because he’s able to sit closer to the table and at our height.

Retrospec Baby Balance Bike
The Retrospec Baby Balance Bike is intended for babies 12 months and older, but we got it for Parks as he was nearing 7 months. He doesn’t quite know how to use it yet, but he loves being pushed around on it. It won’t be long before he’s cruising around by himself.
This is a stylish and easy-to-balance option if you’re excited to get your little on a bike.

Baby’s Brew portable bottle warmer
This battery-powered bottle warmer is perfect for nursing mamas who want to warm a pre-made bottle on the go. It can also be used to warm a formula bottle so you don’t have to worry about bringing a thermos with you wherever you happen to go!

Tushbaby Hip Carrier
I use the Tushbaby every day. When we’re walking to dinner, in the airport, exploring Disney World, and even while I’m nursing on the go.
It has five pockets that can store your phone, wallet, even diapers and wipes!
It’s also easy to get on and off and straps to the stroller nicely when you’re not using it.

Busy Baby mat (small)
We keep this in our ‘go bag’ and pull it out at restaurants if Parks starts to get a little fussy. It comes with two tethers allowing us to attach his favorite toys or teethers to keep him entertained.

Busy Baby spoon & teether
This is one of Parks’ favorite teethers. It is also a textured spoon that he can hold a variety of ways. We like to tether this to the Busy Baby mat and bring it with us everywhere we go.

Busy Baby fox teether
This is one of our favorite teethers for Parks to use. The wood and textured silicon feel good on his teething gums. It easily attaches to his Busy Baby mat with a tether to keep him from dropping it on the floor. Plus, it’s precious!

Hatch sound machine
We keep the Hatch sound machine in his nursery, and pack it when we are going to stay somewhere else overnight.
It can be controlled via the app and has a variety of sound and color settings.

HelloBaby bluetooth video monitor
We bought an Owlet, but quickly ditched it for the HelloBaby video monitor. Not only is very reasonably priced, we like that this comes with a handheld so we can put our phones away. It’s connected via bluetooth, so we can take it with us as we move around the house.
It’s small, so we pack it and bring it with us when we travel. It fits nicely in the Slumberpod and has great night vision.

Konssy Muslin baby bibs (10 pack)
Using these bibs every day saves Parks’ outfits and prevents us from doing laundry so often. P is a drooling machine! Getting a 10-pack of these bibs for $25 was a no-brainer. They’re cute and come in a variety of colors to match whatever he happens to be wearing that day.
We pack them in our ‘go bag’ so we always have a fresh one wherever we go.

WeeSprout nursing & stroller cover
This lives in our ‘go bag’ and comes with us everywhere we go. We primarily use it as a stroller cover when Parks is napping on the go. Paired with his portable sound machine, it creates a perfect napping environment if we’re out and about.
While I don’t use it for nursing, it is made of breathable material so it’s not going to get as warm as others. It also comes with a neckline insert that creates a gap in the top to prevent you from needing to duck under the cover to see your baby or re-latch.

BABYBJÖRN baby carrier – mini
We use the Baby Bjorn when we want to wear Parks and be hands free. When I needed to get things done around the house and he refused to be put down, this saved the day.
Now that he’s older, we like to take this with us for longer walks and when we travel. It easily straps to the stroller when we aren’t using it.

Yumi organic baby food
I’ve heard a lot about lead and other things that have been found in baby food lately. It’s terrifying, but I simply don’t have time (nor do I want) to make my own baby food. Yumi is organic and freshly made and shipped to us each week.
If we don’t use everything that is sent to us, it’s easy to freeze in the jar, or in ice cube trays to make fun popsicles.

Travel products
Products we rely on when we travel.
Shynerk video mirror
We use this in the car and it works great for day-time and night-time driving. It’s easy to set up and has proven to be a reliable and hassle-free way to see our baby in the back seat.

Yogasleep Travelcube portable sound machine
We keep this in our ‘go bag’ and use it everywhere.
If Parks is asleep in his car seat in the back seat, we turn this on to drown out our voices. If he’s asleep in his stroller as we’re out and about, we place it between his feet and cover him up.

Doona car seat & stroller combo
This has been a total game changer for us when we travel.
The car seat is approved to be used without a base in a car and on a plane. With the simple push of a button, it expands to be a stroller. It’s perfect for running errands and air travel.

Foods
Food products I use regularly that I get online.
Bamba peanut butter puffs
These dissolve very fast in your baby’s mouth, so they’re safe and we don’t have to worry about him choking. They also help us be consistent in introducing peanuts on a regular basis.
